Journey Well was born out of our love for mamas! We have a vision of supporting women well on their motherhood journeys. In our years spent as mothers, we began to see a need in our community for more support services in birth, breastfeeding, education and adoption. We desire to see families empowered by education in the latest evidence-based care and offer a variety of services tailored for your specific needs.
At Journey Well we believe mothering matters, and that families thrive when they find the support they need. With God as our strength and a whole lot of kids in our families (4 for Bobbie and 7 for Kari!) Journey Well is here to help you on your unique journey. Kari Bower
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Birth Doula, Child Birth and Lactation Educator, Adoption Consultant
Kari has been a Birth Doula for over a decade. She is a retired La Leche League Leader of 8 years and founder of Journey Well. She loves living life fully with her husband Jeremy and 7 kids! She loves Jesus, and spends most of her time homeschooling her busy crew, studying in her field, enjoying her front porch on a beautiful day, and dreaming of how she can best support women and families in her community.

Bobbie Kaufman
Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Certified Birth Doula, Child Birth and Lactation Educator
Bobbie Kaufman is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Certified Birth Doula. She was a La Leche League Leader for 2 years before retiring. Her greatest joys are following Jesus, sharing life with her husband Jacob, and mothering her 4 amazing kids. She adores children and is lovingly nicknamed the "The Baby Whisperer" by friends and family.
